I purchased a 2023 GMC Acadia from Hanlees Hilltop GMC in November 2023, and I am now publicly documenting my experience due to unresolved and highly concerning issues.
From the beginning, I was assisted by Alex Lafour and Paul Galassi, and finalized paperwork with Gerry Kuong in Finance. The buying process went so fast, but follow up - no good customer service. I haven’t bought a car in over 15 years and I’m 70 years old so I’m kind of slow thinking now but I feel the salesman just bulldozed through the whole financing process without letting me think on them. Employees were helpful and friendly. It did take awhile to get the car serviced. Besides that, everything else was great.

Like that they had driver to take you home or pick up. Young was very friendly and informative.even though he was very busy and alone. I got my car back the next day as parts needed to be ordered.

Drove 3 hrs twice to get there, had to wait 2.5 hrs to purchase. Didn't negotiate on price. Was told could get touch up paint but then told didn't happen.

I had such a great experience when I visited Hilltop GMC, the service advisor, and technician explained in detail my issue. Then was able to send a driver to a Vallejo dealed for the part I needed. While I waited ✋️, over all I was very very happy 😊

I was responding to a recall but this was not my first dealing with them. I found them prompt, responsive and very professional

People where great trucks are not so great I wish Chevy would fix the oil consumption problem

I called late in the afternoon and needed a battery for my truck ( I prefer to keep my truck all GM) Service manager Young told me they had the right battery in stock to bring it in and they would R/R . I arrived at 3 and left with a new battery at 3:45. Service like it should be!!

They profecional and they xplain and they attend you at the time of the appoinment

It turned out to be a great experience. My CSR was kind, informative. Everything he told me was spot on. I will continue to use them for my services going forward.

I did not have a good experience here. They can put cars on the lot that have problems and you won't know it until you buy it and find out the hard way. The sales manager was not nice sbout it either.

Customer Service Representative Donovan was spectacular. Very attentive and kept me informed to the status of the truck. Unfortunately, I was offered a ride to work which I accepted. Until it was determined I work in Oakland. Evidently, the shuttle only goes to Emeryville, which is the northern border of Oakland. Very disappointing since you guys discontinued your ride share (Lyft) service.

They wanted to help and wanted my business, got a good deal and answered my questions.

Always takes great care of our vehicles in a timely fashion

Looked and test drive a 2022 Chevy Suburban. Loved the color and got a great deal. Had the car delivered to my home an hour away. Top notch service.

They were on time, explained everything thoroughly. Helped me understand certain functions of my truck.

I had a manufacturer recall issue. I was met with friendly service people. I spoke to the parts person about another question that I had, and was provided. accurate information. The car check honestly didn't take that long and the part will be arrive in the next 10 days, or so. I was pleasantly surprised by the gentleman with the ponytail, that I still had 1 year left to my power train warranty. I was unaware of that, because I purchased it at a used car dealership. I am a loyal customer, and I feel you could have a least washed my Malibu as complementary wash but wanted to charge 24.00 , the associate not even try to make effort for me by at least stating maybe next time, I would have been ok with a "MayBE", it was a hard "NO" and again I always bring my chevy products to you guys. -not happy. My previous service advisor "Jason" really treated me like a valued customer and his tone was much more inviting- Really miss him.

I like the people who works there. Every question I have is answer to my satisfaction even I do not like the answer.` Labor cost is @ $250.00 hour. for the job we requested parts $323.80 Labor $605.10 with 10% discount it came to over $ 1,000+.. .when requesting the work job...didn't realize the labor cost was so high my fault...not the dealer error my error.

Very good service

Jason in the service department was excellent. From the moment I took my vehicle in until all service and repairs were complete one week later. Jason was knowledgeable and explained the process needed for the repairs and reviewed the cost and time needed to complete. He followed up with two "status" calls during that period. Very customer service oriented and personable!


Nice dealership with amenities (coffee, tea, hot cocoa & coloring pages for kids) all staff was nice 10/10 recommend

Jason was great and made a possibly terrible experience into a good one. I'll definitely continue to get my vehicle serviced there.
