I purchased a 2023 GMC Acadia from Hanlees Hilltop GMC in November 2023, and I am now publicly documenting my experience due to unresolved and highly concerning issues.
From the beginning, I was assisted by Alex Lafour and Paul Galassi, and finalized paperwork with Gerry Kuong in Finance. The buying process went so fast, but follow up - no good customer service. I haven’t bought a car in over 15 years and I’m 70 years old so I’m kind of slow thinking now but I feel the salesman just bulldozed through the whole financing process without letting me think on them. Employees were helpful and friendly. It did take awhile to get the car serviced. Besides that, everything else was great.

Drove 3 hrs twice to get there, had to wait 2.5 hrs to purchase. Didn't negotiate on price. Was told could get touch up paint but then told didn't happen.
I had such a great experience when I visited Hilltop GMC, the service advisor, and technician explained in detail my issue. Then was able to send a driver to a Vallejo dealed for the part I needed. While I waited ✋️, over all I was very very happy 😊
I was responding to a recall but this was not my first dealing with them. I found them prompt, responsive and very professional

I called late in the afternoon and needed a battery for my truck ( I prefer to keep my truck all GM) Service manager Young told me they had the right battery in stock to bring it in and they would R/R . I arrived at 3 and left with a new battery at 3:45. Service like it should be!!

I did not have a good experience here. They can put cars on the lot that have problems and you won't know it until you buy it and find out the hard way. The sales manager was not nice sbout it either.

I had a manufacturer recall issue. I was met with friendly service people. I spoke to the parts person about another question that I had, and was provided. accurate information. The car check honestly didn't take that long and the part will be arrive in the next 10 days, or so. I was pleasantly surprised by the gentleman with the ponytail, that I still had 1 year left to my power train warranty. I was unaware of that, because I purchased it at a used car dealership. I am a loyal customer, and I feel you could have a least washed my Malibu as complementary wash but wanted to charge 24.00 , the associate not even try to make effort for me by at least stating maybe next time, I would have been ok with a "MayBE", it was a hard "NO" and again I always bring my chevy products to you guys. -not happy. My previous service advisor "Jason" really treated me like a valued customer and his tone was much more inviting- Really miss him.

The service staff are friendly and helpful. I have found the hard way paying a little more at the dealer saves me time and money over the life of my vehicle. The technician is specifically trained for my vehicular and use only GM parts guaranteed. I never have failures or costly returns like at a one size fits all garage. I give this dealership 5 stars over all!

Jason in the service department was excellent. From the moment I took my vehicle in until all service and repairs were complete one week later. Jason was knowledgeable and explained the process needed for the repairs and reviewed the cost and time needed to complete. He followed up with two "status" calls during that period. The dealership was fantastic overall and whoever I worked with was amazing. He was kind and respectful and made sure to help me confirm that everything was covered by my warranty. They had to call run circles and call a whole bunch of people to try to fix my car and I really appreciate all the effort. My only complaint is that I did have to consistently call back for updates and I would've appreciated being reached out to with updates more often.
Service was good. The shuttle share ride from lift or uber to the new shuttle service can be slower as took 30 minutes for the shuttle home until car was done with service I paid myself uber back to pick up my vehicle due to the long pickup time
They should know why I am bringing in my car. I shouldn't have to tell them what they should already know
While the associate Lee, Young who welcomed me and processed my suv on December 26, was extremely helpful, went above and beyond to resolve my issue. Another associate was extremely rude and not willing to help at all when I asked about a missing part from my dash.
I don't know. The guy that took my car in was cool but the fact that I was being charged over $3K for something that another GMC dealership quoted me at $1100 is crazy. Completely irresponsible and I'll never be back there again.
Dealership was amazing. Company that provides the warranty sucked. Took them 3 weeks to approve warranty work that i paid for when i purchased the vehicle. Only approved 5 days of rental after not having transportation for a month.

When the car was ready, they came and told me. Then they went over the paperwork pertaining to tire tread depth, and the wear on the brakes.

Costumer service was awful they need to let the front desk men (in the service department) that he needs to greet and be kind to the customers.
The shocks went out on my 2018 Denali. Saw that was a common issue. Called Hanless and they said it may be a covered issue. Got there and was told that I had to pay $235 for them to "verify" if they could replace the shocks at no charge. I paid the $235 and was told the issue would cost over $2200 to replace the shocks and could be done in 30 minutes.
